How to recover Entourage email after system archive & restore

Sorry, not expert here so I apologize if I don't say things correctly. I had to partition/archive/restore my computer yesterday after my mac would not boot up properly (kernel panic screen after latest mac update). All of my files, applications, folders etc seem to successfully reside now under a "previous system" folder on my HD. Entourage pulls up but it's empty. How do I get my old emails, contact info, etc. to restore?
Note: I haven't upgraded to Leopard yet as the system restore from my install discs just defaulted to Tiger. Does that matter?

I'm not exactly what steps you took to restore. Did you do an "Archive &
Install" or did you restore from Time Machine or another backup?

Entourage looks for your data in this location:

~/Documents/Microsoft User Data/Office 2008 Identities/Main
Identity/database

You might find this file but it could be a new blank Identity. If Entourage
doesn't find an Identity, it will create a new blank one for you. You need
to find the Identity that contains a database that has your data. You can
view your database file created on date and modified date to find the
correct file. File size is also an indicator.

Try searching for "Main Identity" or "Microsoft User Data folder".

It's possible when you had the kernel panic, that your Identity was lost.
See if it was put in the invisible 'lost & found' folder.

Good luck!
