How to recover un-uploaded folder via Exchange Server

Juliet

I'm an exchange server user. I use two different computers to receive emails
from Exchange Server. Without properly set up, the emails on Exchange server
were downloaded to a local folder in one of my computer. In order to keep a
copy on Exchange Server, I immediately create a folder on Exchange Server and
move those emails into that folder... However, I then delete the email
account without waiting for the folder to be uploaded to Exchange Server.
Therefore, the folder disappear without finishing uploading. Wondering if I
could recover the un-finishing uploading folder and its emails from Exchange
Server? like a temp location or something?

Unfortunately, when your emails were delivered to a "local folder" on your
computer, it is exactly that. A pst file on your local machine. If you have
deleted this profile, then you have deleted the information stored within it
unless you have a backup.

The Exchange server holds network pst files which no doubt will be being
backed up by your IT dept, local folders etc., are not included in this
backup.

what you should find however, if your other computer is set up correctly,
the emails
you received prior to using this computer should be in your exchange
profile, so you may not have lost everything, just the mails received on the
local machine.

Good luck!
