How to recover Word document files, if the password given is forgotten

Hi,

It is very common question - "How to recover Word document files, if the password given is forgotten".

I search many websites, even i found s/ws also but most of them are demo versions going upto 4 characters but what about if the password is bigger.

Also, those programs are costlier. So can anybody know from where i can get the free s/w to crack down the .doc files. I have forgotten one such password of my file which is important to me.

Or any other option does Microsoft has then let me know.
