How to redesign O 2003 contact form without losing its original look?

O

OSHM

Hi all,

We just learned from this group that if you touch anything, even if you
slightly move a field, Contact form of Outlook 2003 loses its original look
and reverts to the contact form look of O2002.

How we can avoid that and add a field to the first page of Outlook 2003
contact form?

Thanks
Hakan

You would have to design your custom form to mimic the look of the unmodified OL2003 form.

Can anyone explain why MS would bring out its latest and greatest Office suite and take a step backward in functionality? What possible reason could they have for not allowing the flexibility to modify the Outlook 03 Contact form? I don't expect to shell out money for an "upgrade" only to learn that I'm losing a feature that's important to me. I can't help but believe that someone has a workaround on this problem. If so, please share!

There are several workarounds, including putting all customizations on pages
other than the first page and adding an image control to the first page.
