how to reduce 2700 paqe Word file size w/links

Have 2700 page Word file that is still too large when converted to PDF. It
has lots of internal hyperlinks. I am told that Word includes a lot of data
that is unnecessary and if removed will make the file size smaller.

How do I reduce this 26,000 KB file size?

Have you tried selecting Smallest File Size in the Printer Properties for
the PDF Printer?

Hi Jim,

Any information from a Word document that is superfluous to rendering that document as a PDF is not retained by the PDF conversion
process. So your only option is to tweak the PDF output settings. If your document has lots of images, try adjusting the PDF
image-rendition settings.
