How to reference an excel superscripted cell into a 2nd sheet?

I am using a superscript for "feet squared" (ft^2). I then try to reference
that cell in a 2nd sheet. Formatting does not appear on 2nd sheet.

Formatting does not carry over with a formula such as =A1
You can insert a superscript symbol with the Insert Symbol dialog;
OR hold down ALT and press 0178 on the numeric keyboard (a bother if you use
a laptop) to get ², or 0179 to get ³

In Excel 2007, there are sub and superscript characters for all digits 0 to
9 in the Calibri font

Hi,

You can't format on a character by character basis within a formula cell.
So since you have a formula refering to another sheet you can use superscript
or subscript in the formula. And as already mentioned format do not
generally travel with formulas.
A poor solution at best would be to take a picture of the original cell
using the Camera tool and paste it into the sheet where you want the results.
But it is a picture, although you could put the formula in the cell
underneath the picture and use the results and see the picture.
