how to remove an “owner†for a particular project

We need to know how to remove an “owner†for a particular project. Let’s say
a PM1 is assigned as the second owner to a plan, but then that PM1 is
assigned to a different plan, we don’t want that PM1 to continue to have
access to the first plan. How do we take off this permission?
