How to remove an expired trial version MS Office Professional 2007

This is what happened to me two days ago:

On Wednesday 14, 2008 I was working on my usual Microsoft Works Suite 2006,
finished what I was writing, shut off the computer, and during the closing of
the computer, I received a message that my computer was receiving certain
updates for the Microsoft Windows XP Home Edition 2002 that I have on my Dell
laptop. I did not click on the button that said "Click here if you wish to
shut off the computer without receiving updates."

Guess what happened.

I get an update for Windows Microsoft Office Professional 2007 Trial version
with a nice little message stating the following:

Your Microsoft Professional 2007 trial version is expired (Yes, expired
exactly FIVE hours after it downloaded onto my computer!). I was unable to
access any features of this so-called trial version. I feel like I was ripped
off big time.

To compound to that, I attempted to uninstall this trial version through my
Add/Remove Programs and reinstall my Microsoft Works Suite 2006 in its place.

Guess what.

That did not work either.

I am not going to pay $400.00 for some update that I do not need on my
computer.

Any help in removing this Microsoft Office Professional 2007 Trial version,
and restoring my Microsoft Works Suite 2006 version is greatly appreciated.
