Every time I opened Outlook (2003), it advised that Outlook hadn't been
closed properly and that it was 'checking the file for problems'. The .pst
file had also recently grown to about twice its previous size and Outlook had
become very slow. So, I thought I'd create a new personal folder.
I exported all of my messages, calendar, contacts, then reimported them into
a new .pst file that I created. I then set the new folder to receive my
email. That all worked fine but I still have the old personal folder and
can't find how to remove it.
The folder does not appear in the File/Data File Management list (the new
one does), though it does still show under Tools/Email accounts/View or
change existing email accounts (though it can't be deleted from here).
Any suggestions please?
thanks
