How to remove/block access to the "Check for Updates" Button ?

Hello,

since Updates are distributed through WSUS Server, I want to disable the
"Check for Updates" feature (button) within the Resources area in Office
Applications.

I already tried to disable the Ribbon-Control ID "9340" via GPO, but didnt
work. Other Policy-ID'S work..:-(

Anybody can help??
