I'm working on a project that has somehow brought in a new font I don't
recognize. The font list shows a Bitstream Vera Sans TT font that is a
"Duplicate, Preview-only" I have two options....
1. Load it so I can't edit the document (or find where it is even)
2. Not load it and not be able to find the font in the document.
I have tried not loading the font and re-saving the document to a new name.
That did nothing.
Can I safely delete that specific embedded font from my system and hope that
Publisher will not look for it in this document? Is there a way to remove
embedded fonts or substitute them? What alternatives do I have here? I really
hate to think of removing all formatting, this is a fairly complex document.
Also if I look at the font Substitution in the list I see that Helvetica,
sans-serif is missing and temporarily gets substituted with Times Roman but
if I set it to permanently make the change...the permanent change does not
take effect. It's back again when I re-open the file.
Thanks,
