How to remove horizontal line

I have a page in a document that has a horizontal line in it that I don't
know how to remove. I've tried everything I can think of. I believe I asked
this question some time ago; but sorry, I don't have access to my notes.

Select all, go to Format | Borders and Shading, Borders tab, click None,
click OK. (this assumes you don't have any borders/lines you actually want
in there).

I Selected All, but I didn¹t find Borders and Shading under Format. With
your lead, though, I was able to disappear the line by:

Select All
Go to View
Go to Toolbars
Open Tables and Borders Toolbar
Click the No Borders icon
The line disappeared
