How to remove Outlook read recipts?

Hi,

Can anyone help with a problem I have using Outlook 2003 on a home pc.
I recently changed from a dial up connection to ADSL with a different ISP. I
set up email accounts to both my new and original providers so that I could
receive mail on both accounts but find that I cannot send email using my old
account even though I have put in all the correct SMTP settings. I expect
this is because I am not actually dialing in to them but I am can receive OK
so this was not really a problem. However I recently received a mail on my
old account which requested a read receipt. I accidentally clicked yes to
send it but now it appears to be repeatedly trying to send this and
reporting an error with 0x00CCC0F and also any other mails I send even from
my new account will not go. I can't find out where this read receipt is
stored to delete it and stop it being sent. Nothing in the outbox so any
suggestions on how to overcome this would be much appreciated.

It would only be polite to include the answer since others may be having the
same issue.

I presume you mean this solution:

Post all replies to the group to keep the discussion intact. All
unsolicited mail sent to my personal account will be deleted without
reading.

After furious head scratching, ChrisK asked:
