I am running Visio 2000 SR1 and am trying to use the UML Use case stencil as part of a document I am developing.
I tried to edit the master to remove shape protection - this appears to work and I am able to to stretch (etc.) the shapes successfully. But when I try to edit the text within the shape I receive a message that the text is protected. For example I am using the ellipse shape (Use Case) and want to change the words Use Case to the actual name of the Use Case.
I tried to format the behavior of the double click to be edit text but this does not work either.
My goal is to be able to use these stencils as part of my standard visio drawings - will the shapes behave like the other shapes. Am I able to use these shapes with 2000 or will they only behave in 2003 ? Thanks for any help you can lend. It is my hope that I can use these with 2000 as I won't be able to get version 2003.
