In the Word from the Control tool box when the Option Button is double
clicked comes a box with the world "Option Button" along with the circle. How
do i remove this word "Option Button", have only the circle? The same
question applies to the Check mark button also.

Right click on the Option Button, choose Properties and then change the
Caption in the properties box.

Generally speaking, do not use controls from the Controls Toolbox. Use them
from the Forms toolbar. The ones from the Controls Toolbox don't work in
protected forms. What I am talking about is what Word calls an "online
form." Check this in help. For more about online forms, follow the links at
http://addbalance.com/word/wordwebresources.htm#Forms or
http://word.mvps.org/FAQs/Customization/FillinTheBlanks.htm especially Dian
Chapman's series of articles. You may also want to look at
http://www.word.mvps.org/FAQs/TblsFldsFms/LinesInForms.htm.

On the other hand, you may mean a UserForm, in which case, never mind. :~)

Hope this helps,
