How to remove xmlns:my="http://schemas.microsoft.com/office/infopath/2003/myXSD/2005-10-08T23:36:28

I notice that the above reference causes the form's xml elements to start
with my:. Is there a way to remove this reference to so that this doesn't
happen? No settings as far as I could see would allow for this. I'm
working with Infopath 2003 by the way.

If infopath , Go to properties of your primary data source. There you
can edit
the reference my. Do not remove this line directly since it is the
uniquie namespace
for your form.

I think I finally licked it. I created a blank xml file to use as my schema
and that pretty much did the trick. If I can get the silly meta infopath
meta tags from prepopulated before the root element I'd be happier than a
pig in mud, but this is good enough for now. Thanks!
