how to repair Office 2003 after hard disk Transfer failure

I transferred a complete partitition sucessfully to a new hard disk but
Office 2003 develeped a feww problems and I get error messages although Word
, Outlook etc will start after I click to close the problems. However Outlook
connector doesn't work and detect and repair stops halfway through it cannot
find patch files and the installation is hung; when i restart I get a message
about installation not completing. I had SP2 and all updates installed. I
still have the original hard drive and installation aqvailable.
What can I manually do to repair Office?

haven't checked in depth yet but all the files and settings i use on a
regular basis still work fine

Thank you for your response- I was able to find this same solution in further
searches after I posted my question. The knowledge Base was innaccessible
when I did my first searches for a solution.
