How to reset the built in Menubar in 2002

I have one application that for some reason is not displaying all the
typical built-in menu choices at top of screen when in database view
(programming) mode. It displays only File, Window and Help. It does not
include View, Tools and Insert. When other applications are open the
standard menu bar is displayed. How can I reset the menu bar to the
standard display?

Hi, Bill.

While opening the database, press the <SHIFT> key until the database is
completely open. If you see the Tools menu, then select the Tools menu ->
Startup... to open the Startup dialog window. Check the "Allow Full Menus"
check box, then select the "OK" button to save your change. If you don't
see the Tools menu, then post back with information on whether you are using
a shortcut to open this database and what other startup settings you
remember making to this database.

Gunny,

You were absolutely right! By holding down the shift key while opening I
was able to see the Tools menu choice, and change the startup to allow full
menus. Thanks for your help.
