How to reset the printdate

I have a template which has been printed. Now, every
document instantiated from this template contains that
printdate. How can I reset this ?

That happened because the document template itself now has the printdate
appearing in it. You need to open the template as a document
(right-click and choose Open) delete the offending text or field, then
save and close.
