How to restore deleted outlook contacts

How do you restore a contact that is deleted, but does not show up in the
deleted items folder? Is there a way for you to have it show up in the
deleted items folder so that you can easily restore the contact info?

the only way to restore a contact not in the deleted items folder is from a
backup.

How was it deleted? most of the time they will be in deleted items unless a
PDA did it during a sync - a few sync programs cause the items to be
permanently deleted.

Make sure you sort by icon type - deleted items are sorted by
received/created date and other outlook items will often be near the end or
mixed in. They will be listed as from your account, with the subject in
small, fine print and are easily overlooked.
