how to restore original settings in outlook2003

hi i cant see any recent emails. ive sent a test email and i know it works
but no new mail is appearing in outlook 2003. i recently reinstalled it but
to no avail.
if i switch to outlook express all seems fine and dandy but i want to use
outlook 2003i can only assume it is hidden.any ideas please

Do you receive any errors when trying to send or receive in Outlook?

It's a bit over-the-top but have you tried removing & readding the account
in Outlook to see if that remedies your situation?
