How to restore text visibility for overdue & future tasks Outlook

M

MSBefuddled

Just switched from an XP Home to XP Professional computer & imported my .pst
file for Outlook. The text for all overdue & future tasks & events now shows
up in Week or Month view, but not Day or Work Week view. Only the color
labeled time blocks for those events & tasks is visible on Day & Work Week
views unless I mouse over the time block.

How can I restore text visibility in this situation?

Thanks!

Why did you import? You shoulda just opened the old pst in the new profile.

What version of Outlook? It sounds like a problem with the view - as in you
used a different view in the old pst. Are you using the Day/Week/Month view
with autopreview? Low details setting?

How do you open an old pst in a new profile? I can easily uninstall & start
over.

No need to uninstall. Copy the pst to the machine and close outlook then add
it to the profile via Control panel, mail and set it as default.

http://www.outlook-tips.net/beginner/connect_pst.htm - for older versions
http://www.outlook-tips.net/beginner/2007_profile.htm - the steps to change
to an old pst are near the bottom.

That did the trick! All text visible in all views. Thanks so much!
