Restore Outlook Express Address Book (WAB) – Quick Steps
Check for Backup:
Go to: C:\Documents and Settings\{Your Username}\Application Data\Microsoft\Address Book
Look for .WAB or .WA~ files.
Rename .WA~ to .WAB and try opening it.
Use Built-in Repair Tool:
Press Win + R, type wab /a, and hit Enter.
If it opens, export contacts via File > Export > Address Book (WAB).
Restore a Previous Version:
Right-click the .WAB file > Restore previous versions > Choose an older version.
Import into Another Program:
