How to restore the calendar items

When restoring an Outlook calendar how do you re-link the
person's meeting with the attendee's calendar. For
example we restore a meeting on the organizer's calendar
and when the organizer updates the meeting no attendees
get updates that the meeting has changed. How do you
correct this?
