How to restrict the Cost field to select people

Hi,

We are using MS Project server and are planning to use the Resource Cost
field to store salary info. Can any one give me quick tips on how to
effectively hide the cost field so that only select people have access to it?

You can chooese to not show this data in PWA, but once opened in Project Pro
you can't hide it. The standard practice is to roll up the salary with
overhead costs and even to set standard pay scales so it is very hard to
determine the actual salary.
