How to retain a text box size -It keeps growing w/typed text!

I am having trouble keeping a text box to a specific size. For instance, I
am setting up an fillable template which requires certain fields to be
present at the bottom of each page, with a text box on the page. However,
Infopath is allowing the user to enter as much information as they want in
the text box, without limit, which is pushing all the bottom fields onto the
next page. I know a regular text box will allow a maximum character limit,
but the rich text box does not. Is there anything I can do to limit the size
of the text box? Putting specific measurements/parimeters does not make the
text box remain that size, for either regular text or rich text boxes.
Thank you very much -Carole

In the properties of the Rich Text Box control, at the bottom of the
"Display" tab find the "Scrolling" setting. the default is "Expand to show
all text". change it to one of the other values to prevent it from growing.
