How to retire (or hide, etc.) old project in Project Server 2003?

I have a situation when 2 project plans are published to the same Project
Server 2003. Team members can update time in both projects for all open time
periods.

Is there anyway to make old published project unavailable for team members
for editing? I am looking for any way to retire the old project as to hide,
disable, close, or archive the old projects.
