How to Retrieve archived items in Outlook 2000?

Hi I use Microsoft outlook 2000 and once when I got the prompt "archive old
items now?" I clicked yes. But I am not able to retrieve the archived items.
How do I do it? Can someone guide me please?

You need to open your archive Personal Folder (PST) file which is most
likely named Archive.PST using the File menu > Open > Outlook Data file
command (or similarly named command). You can then access the folders &
items that were archived

Since the OP mentioned Outlook 2000, that will be File>Open>Personal Folders
