how to retrieve contacts from a prior Outlook installation?

My motherboard died and my system crashed. I had to reinstall Outlook (and
everything else). I have my old hard drive installed as a slave on my new
system but I cannot open the prior installations of my programs.

Is there a way to retrieve my old contacts list from the prior installation
and import it to the operating Outlook program?
