How to retrieve old emails after uninstall and re-install of outlo

I installed outlook 2003 and retrieved all the email from my work server and
the software was on trial period, and i wasn't aware of that. After the trail
period ended, it won't let me send email from outlook anymore so i
uninstalled it and reinstall outlook 2002...n now i don't have those emails.
Is there a way to retrieve those emails back? when you uninstall outlook,
does it save emails archieves in different format or something or it
uninstalls with it? Any help is appreciated. Thanks!

If it created an OL2003 unicode format data file, earlier versions of OL
cannot read that data file.

You would need to connect that data file to a OL2003 or later, then create a
new data file in the erlier version format, copy data to this. Close the two
data files, then transfer the 'old' version file to your OL2002 system
