How to retrive Calendar variantions from Microsoft Project

Hi Everyone
Note: Variation means Exceptional Days could be exceptional working
timings or a Holiday exculding BaseCalendar Holidays.

i am automating the Microsoft Project with another system using Delphi (
through Com Interface). The biggest problem i am facing is extracting
variations from calendar. I am able to get the variations to the calendar by
going through each
day and checking if the day has different working timings than the
regular days. Although it works fine but it takes huge amount of time
going through each day. so I was wondering is there any other way of getting
the variations to the calendar from Microsoft Project or some criteria which
can make my search faster. Please let me know if any one has information
regarding this matter.

Yeah, reading all calendars one day at a time is slow, but through
automation it's the only way I know. For a longer timeframe it may be
quicker to temporarily save the project in a .mpd file (Access database
format) then read the Calendars and Calendars_Data tables for exceptions.

I appriciate for such a quick reply. I am pleased with your answer and
already on my way to convert the .mpp into the access tables to retrive
Calendar Variations.
