How to run delete duplicate contacts on entire folder

In Outlook 2002 I have duplicate contacts for many of my entries in the
contacts folder. I heard there was a way to avoid deleting them tediously
one at a time... that I could use a function that would delete all
duplicates in the folder.

Can anyone tell me how that works?
