how to run macro at excel 2003

i am trying to run macro at excel 2003 and i message appear :Run-time
error'28':
Out of stack space.

can you please inform me how to use macro at an excel file? (step to step
procedure)

Did you create the macro you're trying to run?

The run-time error indicates that there is a poorly written macro in the
workbook that is causing the issue. When that message comes up, you can
choose the [Debug] button to view the line of code in the macro where the
error was encountered. With this type of error (error 28), the line it shows
may not be the one that caused the problem; it may be caused by some
continuous looping or other issues within the macro.

Most macros can be run from
Tools | Macros | Macro
and the select the macro you need to run from the list and click the [Run]
button.
