How to save a draft version of a project

I would like to save a draft version of a project schedule on the server
without publishing it for everyone to see. Is there a way to do this?

Julie --

When you initially save a project in the Project Server database, it becomes
available for viewing by everyone who has security permissions to see it.
Sorry.

Dale,

Surely there is a way to do this. In professional, you can choose what
collobaration options you want. You can save your project to the server, but
not publish the assignments. Yes, other project managers, or those with
sufficient security can see it, but the project is not visible to the
"team".

I develop projects schedules this way, then when I am happy with them I
publish them to the resources assigned in the project.

I think Julie's question was to do with whether the assignments show up on
peoples timesheets
