In a perfect world I would be able to submit a form to a file and it
would be the complete form definition and data. This way an
subsequent form changes would not be reflected in the already filled
out forms.Since it appears that I cannot do this (why is this not an
option), I would like to add a button to my form that will:
- Save the xml file to a specific lo?cation with the name populated in
a field on the form (\\srv1\ip\Fie1d1Val.xml)
- Print to PDF in the same folder with the same name .pdf. I plan on
installing a free PDF writer like CutePDF on the user's PCs. So this
would use the a named PDF print driver (unless there is a better way).
This would allow for saving of the data and an electronic "locked"
copy of the original (in PDF).
