how to save an ACCESS database and not link changes to the origina

I want to save an ACCESS database under a new name and not have the changes I
make change the original database I saved from. How can I do this? Everytime
I make changes in the ACCESS database I saved and renamed, it still changes
the original database as well.

Ray,

Sounds like you are talking about changes to the data. Sounds like you have
*linked tables*. If that is the case then you need to make a copy of the
back-end and relink your new front end to your new back end.
