how to save audio in a separate file

Aaron

How can I save the audio in a separate file in a PowerPoint presentation?
Also, how to make the slide changes automatically, instead of clicking to
advance the slides. Like a slide show. Thank you.

Aaron,
Go to the slide transition task pane, way at the bottom set an automatic
timing of your choice. Click Apply to all slides.
If you want to save the audio that is embedded in a PPT show, save it as a
webpage using the file save dialog. PPT will give you a folder with all
items contained in the presentation, including the sound file.

Thanks Luc. By the way, I am using PowerPoint 2007.
I am able to save as web page and get the wav file inside the folder.

I am unable to find "Slide Transition Pane".
However, I found Slide Show / Setup Slide Show / Advance Slide
[x] using timing if present.
But this does not make the slide changes automatically. Its still wait for
my click.

Thank you.

Hi Aaron

In 2007 slide transitions are on the animation tab, way over at the right
hand side. Change the automatically after to the time of your choice and
click apply to all. If you want different times for different slides you will
have to do them individually.
