How to save email in Entourage

I am doing a clean removal and install of Office X, but before I do
so, I want to make sure I preserve my old email in Entourage. What
files do I need to back up to make sure I don't lose my email?

If you use the 'office removal tool' available at the MS web site (or on the
CD, but the web site one may be more up to date), all your mail and other
data in the 'Microsoft User Data' folder in the user's documents folder will
remain untouched, and should be automagically found by the new installation.

Don't forget to apply all the office updates after re-installing.

Actually there's no Office Remover for Office X on MacTopia website. The
only one there is for Office 2001 and earlier, and should defin itely be
used in preference to the one that came on the original office 2001 CD.

But the only Office Remover for Office X (and earlier Offices on your
machine, if desired) is in the Value Pack on the Office v. X CD, and is
fully up to date. Install it from the CD or the Value Pack Installer there.
