Hi,

I use Word 2007. I have different word files containing different styles.
How can I put all together and save them to normal.dotx so that all word file
have all styles by default.

Need help!

Thanks in advance!

The normal template for Word 2007 is normal.dotm. Provided there are no name
clashes, i.e. you can't have multiple styles with the same name, you can
copy the styles from the document to the template using the Organizer
(ALT+F8 > Organizer)

Hi Graham, thank you for your reply. I did copied the preferreced styles to
the Normal.dotm, but those styles are gone when I open a new Work or other
word file. It seems the styles were not saved to Normal.dotm. Please advice!

Thanks again,

Lisa

Note that if you copy a style to normal.dotm it will be present when you
create *new* documents from that template. If you want to add the style to
existing documents, you will have to copy it explicitly to those documents.
