How to scan in Office 2007 programmatcally using Microsoft OfficeDocument Scanning

Hi

This one has me stumped.....

I want to be able to use the Microsoft Office Document Imaging Library
(MODI) and Microsoft Office Document Scanning Library (MODS - if such
a thing exists) to simply scan a document, allow the user to rotate,
sharpen, ignore or possibly OCR before saving.

I can acheive all functionality EXCEPT the scanning. How the heck do I
scan programmatically??? Which object does this??

On the Microsoft Office Document Imaging facility, there is the
facility to scan, but I cannot see how to scan from within the object
model (MODI).

Well i don't think so you can scan new files using MODI. You can open Tiff or
mdi files in MODI and preform OCR, zoom, rotation, text selection etc...

In order to scan new files you need to have a look at WIA Library or
GDViewer controls
