Unfortunaty I have to change my email address. I have started updated
people, web sites, etc. Some emails that I receive will have the actual
email address in the "to" field making it easy to recognize that I have to
inform the sender of the newer address. In fact I use auto formatting to
give me a visual clue.
However, for those emails which only show "display names" I can not visually
see the wrong address. [I know how to r-click on it to see the email
address, but that is a time consumer.] In addition I can not figure out how
to set up auto formatting to "see through" the display name. I can't use the
display names as a search string since it will highlight all emails using
that name regardless of the actual email address.
Final note: my expiring domain is alltel.net. It has been acquired by
windstream.net and the alltel name is expiring in May. Unfortunately both
domains go through the same email account eliminating it as a sorting tool.
Does anyone know how to create a search of email addresses or other shortcut
to flagg the "alltel" address?
thanks
