How to Send Emails in Microsoft Office 2003

I know this has to be simple but I've been trying for hours now to send an email. Please help me out!

1. Do you have a default mail client installed? If yes, what is it?
2. How are you trying to send from Office? File->Send to->?
3. What are you trying to send?
4. Last but most obvious question, do you have a mail account enabled?
