How to send Rich text in merge e-mail (office 2002)

Hello,

I try to send e-mail with Word and backgroud (picture) inside the msg.
Using regular e-mail (not merge) it's work fine and I get the msg correctly
out, however when I use the merge option (to select e-mail adrs from excl
table), it give me options to send the msg as "attachment", "plain text" or
"HTML".

But I want it be sent out as Rich text.

BTW, when using the HTML option, it sends the background (picture) and the
text separate, one after another. Maybe here is the problem. What is the
proper way to insert background to an e-mail?

Any possible solution.
