hi

I have been using MSP 2003. in project i have added a % Complete Column. now
i want to add a Text 1 column and in that it should show "Complete" for 100%
Complete", "Not Started for 0% Complete" and "Incomplete for % Complete>0 and
< 100".

I have tried to make formula for that, but it is not working. must be
something wrong with the formula. please suggest me the correct way to get it.

Thanx in advance!!

I think Project will already do what you want to accomplish. Insert the
"Status" column. You will also need to set a status date under
Project\Project Information...

From the help:

The Status field indicates the current status of a task, specifying whether
the task is Complete, On Schedule, Late, or a Future Task.

How Calculated If the task is 100 percent complete, then Microsoft Office
Project 2003 sets the Status field to Complete.

If the task start date is greater than the status date, then the Status
field contains Future Task.

If timephased cumulative percent complete is spread to at least the day
before the status date, then the Status field contains On Schedule.

If the timephased cumulative percent complete does not reach midnight on the
day before the status date, then the Status field contains Late.

Note: The only thing I do not like about this field is if the %Complete is
actually ahead of schedule, the status column shows "On Schedule."
