how to set an english language preference with japanese os?

For work reasons I have a Japanese OS and also do a lot Japanese powerpoint
and other office-based presentations. But I would prefer to use the menus
and help in English, rather than Japanese. Is there a way to set English
language preference for menus, etc., but still use my Japanese version of
Office 2003 on my Japanese XP OS?

The Windows operating system is made in specific language versions.
You cannot change from one language to another.

You would actually need to continue using the Japanese OS, and install
English Office, not change your OS. The Office install would work even in an
Japanese OS. This would then allow you to have English menus for your
Powerpoint program and your other Office programs, however you would still be
able to input and use Japanese on a normal daily basis.

Hope it helped.
