How to set column size in Word 2007

I have formatted a Word 2007 document with two columns. However, I do not
want the columns divided down the middle of the page. I want a narrower
left column and a wider right column. I assume this is possible but I
cannot figure out how to set uneven column widths.

I don't have 2007 but your Help should tell you how to get to what
used to be the Format drop down menu. From there select Columns. The
resulting pop-up should have number boxes allowing you to change
individual column and gutter widths.
