Actually this solution is tied to the operating system. In its normal working
state you can only set the date back to 1900. I have not found a way to
change the dates past this point with Visio 2007. I guess you could choose
not to show the dates on the timeline then add your own text box displaying
the desired dates. But this will make the interval objects useless because
they are tied into the timeline actual dates.
What an amazing shortcoming. Has there been any talk of trying to fix this in
some way?
