I want to type a play using a hanging indent....ie. the names of the speakers
set left, and the actual speech forming a line about 5 cms further right.
Anybody know how to do this?

On the Home tab in the Paragraph group, click the Dialog Box Launcher (arrow
in the bottom right corner) to display the Paragraph dialog box. There
you'll find Hanging Indent in the Special drop down.

Also, after you make your formatting changes, right-click in the paragraph,
point at Styles, click "Save selection as new Quick Style", name your style,
and then click OK. This will add your formatting to the Quick Style gallery
(also on the Home tab) and enable you to quickly apply the formatting later
in your document.
