How to set up .htaccess file in frontpage to allow php includes

I'd like to know how to set up and include an ".htaccess file" in frontpage
2003 which will allow php includes on my .html pages.

I'd like to include a feed on my webpage

Could someone please give me the process for doing this and be specific as I
have little experience with script other than what I've read in the Microsoft
Office Frontpage for windows 2003 text.

Thank you.

PHP includes have nothing to do with the .htaccess file. Only standard
SSI includes. The latter needs to be allowed by your Provider.

Hi

Thank you for answering.

Bit confused. The place where I want to get the RSS feed from has told me
that I need the htaccess file. Actually a couple of places have said that I
do ... another instance was when I tried to add CARP to my site.

Now given that you say I dont ... does that mean I can just paste their code
into my website as is or do I need to do something else to make it work.

I'd greatly appreciate any further ideas that you can give me to let me put
RSS feeds onto my website.

Don't understand what you mean by SSI includes .... do all RSS feeds require
them and that's why I need to check with my service provider? Please explain.

Sorry, I still have a lot to learn

What Operating System is your site hosted under?

Windows doesn't use/support the .htaccess file.
