How to set up multiple users with same email account

I currently have the following set up on my XP Home SP3 using Outlook
Express

2 user accounts on XP (mine and my wife's)

3 email accounts - all from one ISP (pop3) - (one for me only, one for my
wife only, one for both of us)
The address book is shared out to all email accounts.

As Outlook Express is not supported in Windows 7 and I am not too keen on
Windows Live Mail, I was thinking of moving over to Outlook 2003 (which I
also have).

Is it possible to set up the same construct I have with OE using Outlook
2003 and how is such a thing possible. I have seen articles on the web for
configuring multiple accounts, but they mostly seem to use rules to send
incoming mail to a folder structure.

What I am really after is to have the contact information shared out between
the email accounts, but nothing else. Each email account is to be completely
separate from one another. The one for both of us is to be visible to both
XP user accounts.

i.e.

XP User 1 XP User 2
(e-mail address removed) (e-mail address removed)
(e-mail address removed) (e-mail address removed)
Same Contact info Same Contact info

Hope I have made it clear.

TIA

Are each of these accounts accessing a separate mailbox or does mail to all
thhree addresses get deposited into the same mailbox on the server?

Depends entirely on the answer to my prior question.

What I did was copy the Registry entry for the profile.

HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion\Windows
Messaging Subsystem\Profiles\Outlook

Not sure if this is applicable to XP but it works perfectly on Windows 7.

I wanted my email available to me without having to worry about syncing two
email boxes to both my domain user and my local user.

Export the name of the profile regkey and import it in your wife's.

She'll probably have to create another profile for outlook and her pop3's.
Outlook can be configured in the windows control panel to ask every time
which profile you want to use.

Brian, sorry it took so long for me to get back to you. My PC was on the
fritz.

The 3 email groups are 3 mailboxes under a single account.
Sorry, should have made that clearer.

The primary mailbox (the one to be used by both of us) was the one that was
created when the account was created at the ISP. The other mailboxes were
created from that same account, but separate mail is routed to the correct
mailbox at the ISP. There are no rules set up by myself to route messages.

What does "three mailboxes under a single account" mean? Are you referring to
an Outlook account or to a mail service account? Do you use separate
usernames/passwords to access those mailboxes?
